Parent Advisory Group The Parent Advisory Board is a volunteer committee that works with the YMCA professional staff and the synchronized swimming team coaching staff to ensure the smooth operation of the synchronized swimming program. The group consists of an Executive Board and Members-at-Large. For more information on the Board, please refer to the current By-Laws. Please contact your parent liaison if you wish to add an item to the agenda for discussion. Parent Meetings Parent meetings are held two to four times a year, the dates are indicated on the Team Calendar. The meetings are organized by the Parents Executive Board. Important issues are discussed at each meeting so we require that one parent from each family attend every meeting. Meetings will cover such topics as away and overnight meet plans, fund-raising, financial planning, team guidelines, and team social events.
